A PKD Charity Event with Honey Fest

Honey Fest was started by Joe in 2009 to honor Amy’s mon, Norma, who passed away from polycystic kidney disease. Joe donated his kidney in February 2024, meanwhile, Honey Fest donates all of its proceeds to the PKD Foundation in hopes of finding a cure. Honey Fest Music Festival is a grassroots charity event to fight polycystic kidney disease (PKD).

As lighting director and a performer, Joe runs several non-profit charity music festivals and events including Dead Fest and Honey Fest. Held annually in Pennsylvania, this festival brings together artists, children, and advocates for a day filled with music, fun, and community spirit. SHEHDS built partnerships with Joe that not only showcased SHEHDS lighting technology but also aligned with SHEHDS’s core values of creativity, inclusivity, and compassion.

On 14th September, The Honey Fest Music Festival brought together kids, music fans and those looking to get down into the night for a day filled with joy, connection, and purpose. From the moment the gates opened, attendees were greeted with an electric atmosphere, vibrant performances, and a sense of camaraderie that only music can inspire. Throughout the festival, SHEHDS resonates with the passion and dedication of everyone involved—from the organizers and volunteers to the performers and attendees.
