What is the difference between a moving head wash and a static wash light?

Static wash lights (PAR lights, LED bars) are fixed in position — you aim them once and they stay there. They're reliable, simple and cost-effective for permanent or semi-permanent stage setups like church stages, theater rigs and fixed venue installations. Moving head wash lights do the same color coverage but on a motorized head that pan, tilts and repositions in real time. What beam angle do wash lights typically use?
