SHEHDS × Honey Fest | PKD Charity Collaboration

Founded in 2009 by Joe in memory of Norma, who passed away from PKD, Honey Fest was created to raise awareness and support the search for a cure. In February 2024, Joe donated his own kidney, turning the festival’s charitable mission into a deeply personal and meaningful act.
Over the years, Honey Fest has consistently donated all of its proceeds to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation. As a grassroots charity music festival, it continues to unite the power of music, community, and compassion in support of a greater cause.
As both a lighting director and performer, Joe also operates multiple nonprofit music festivals, including Honey Fest and Dead Fest, using music as a bridge to connect artists, families, and advocates. SHEHDS’ collaboration with Joe not only enhances the live experience through professional stage lighting and immersive visual design, but also strongly reflects the brand values SHEHDS stands for—creativity, inclusivity, and compassion.
On September 14, Honey Fest brought together children, music lovers, and community members for a day filled with music, laughter, and meaningful connection, creating an atmosphere of hope and shared purpose.
