How many moving heads do I need for a standard show or venue?
The minimum starting point is always four fixtures (two on each side of the stage or truss) to create symmetrical looks and criss-crossing aerial effects.
For professional looks and large stages, we recommend six to eight movers.
Should I use a dedicated controller or DMX software with these fixtures?
For the powerful features of a Moving Head (like complex movement, color changes, and gobo swapping), we highly recommend using a dedicated DMX controller or lighting software.
